We ship from Sydney, tracking information along with your receipt will be sent via the email address you provide. Delivery time is an average of 1 to 3 business days from your dispatch confirmation email, depending on where you are located in Australia it may take a little longer.
Your parcel will be sent via door-to-door courier, or Australia Post if you are in remote areas. Please use a street address, Post office box addresses are only available for remote areas. For parcels 500gm or less – if you will not be home the courier has the authority to leave your parcel. Larger parcels may require a signature if you are not home the courier will leave a card regarding pick up or redelivery options. If you want your parcel left without a signature you can advise this in the notes at checkout. You can track your parcel from the link sent to you in your shipping email.
During COVID-19 there is no option for a signature on delivery all parcels have the authority to leave.
Once you have placed an order you will receive a confirmation email from Stylelement with the details of your order. It will then be processed and dispatched within 24hrs, you will then receive an email with your tracking information and your receipt of purchase. We do not print the receipt/order details and add them to the parcel so as to save on paper wastage. Please note any order made on the weekend will be processed on Monday.
If you would like your order sooner please choose the Express Post option. Express Post is $13, Australia wide only. Next day delivery applies to the Sydney area. Interstate takes approximately 1 to 3 days.
Our EXPRESS POST option is via Australia Post and not classified as registered mail.

New Zealand $15 AUD, delivery estimate 4 to 6 working days
Other countries we currently ship to: the Philippines $17 AUD, UK $20 AUD , USA $25 AUD with a delivery estimate of 6 to 13 working days. Customs – Customers can be charged fees from their own country for buying a product online, Stylelement does not take responsibility for any customs or import fees that may occur once the parcel arrives at its destination country.
A signature on delivery is required if you are not home the courier driver is unable to complete the delivery and will leave a card regarding pick up or delivery options.
Where is my order?
Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email from us with your tracking information. If it has been 2 business days from the last date of your parcels ETA window, and your parcel has received no further tracking updates. Please contact your nearest Postal Authority to see if it has been taken there. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and do not account for any possible delays.
If a parcel cannot be delivered on the first attempt, it will either be delivered to a nearby location for collection or made available for a free redelivery, you will receive an email regarding further instructions.
Our courier satchels are compostable
Yup, that’s right. These babies look like plastic and feel a bit like plastic, but they’re made from 100% biodegradable and compostable materials.
Specifically; corn starch, PLA (made from corn) and PBAT (Polybutyrate Adipate Terephthalate).
Once you have unpacked your order you can simply take off the label and pop it in with your food scraps and green waste to start breaking down. The satchel will biodegrade within 90 days.
These clever satchels have passed Australia’s stringent AS5810 certified home compostable requirements, which includes a worm toxicity test, so they’re even worm farm friendly.

We offer 21-day return/refund on full-priced, unworn/as new items ONLY. We will refund you, if your purchase qualifies or issue you a store credit so you can repurchase the item of choice. You must contact us via email on firstname.lastname@example.org with details of your purchase including your name and order number, within 7 days from the receipt of your item. The items must be returned to us within 21 days of the purchase date.
Please note we DO NOT REFUND ON SALE ITEMS or WHERE DISCOUNT or PROMOTIONAL CODES have been applied to your item. Though you can return the item and you will be issued with a credit code to purchase an item of your choice. This store credit has no expiry date.
If your return qualifies for a refund and you have been granted FREE Shipping, the shipping amount (or part thereof, if only part of the order is to be refunded) will be deducted from your refund. Shipping is not refundable. Unless the item is a faulty then you will be refunded the full amount.
If your payment was via Afterpay your refund will be less the Afterpay merchant fees.
*If you choose a store credit instead of a refund no charges or shipping will be deducted and you will receive the full amount you paid for the item/s in credit.
There is NO RETURN on Clearance or permanently reduced Sale items under $40.
No return on jewellery
Refunds will not be issued on item/s that are not received or are lost in transit.
Any shipping charges associated with a return are the responsibility of the customer we also suggest you use a trackable form of shipping.
Before returning the item make sure:
- The item was purchased in the last 21 days
- Items are unworn, not including trying it on
- Items are unwashed and in the original condition with original tags attached, we suggest you try your garments on with no makeup on.
If a garment is returned soiled then we reserve the right to send it back to you or deduct a cleaning fee from the store credit that you will receive, as a soiled items will not qualify for a refund.
Once we have received the returned item, please allow 4 business days for your return to be processed.

For faulty items please notify us immediately via email with photos of the fault and item details. We will send you a return label.
We reserve the right to repair or to replace a faulty item due to a manufacturing fault but not normal ‘wear and tear’. If not repairable or cannot be replaced then a refund or store credit will be issued. Please follow the care instructions on your garment to prolong the life of it.
We do not offer exchanges or hold stock for exchange. Unless otherwise arranged.
